I was eating up the asphalt today! Hello to everyone who was worried about me not posting over the past twelve days, especially the messages from Dave and Chris :) you stars!

I got a good 5km in today, hardly even felt the hills! In parts was enjoyable! Next week is oneBIGweekend hence the lack of quite so many updates - there’s a lot of work to do for it all!

But one hundred days of getting fit and still going - that’s not too bad now is it?!

So today’s main piece of news isn’t really running related but it’s great news anyway! I’ve got a green chroma key screen coming so that I can do some fancy video stuff (hurrah!). I’ve been toying with getting one a lot recently but the £80+ price tag has put me off. Thank goodness for 75% off sales hey… look out for new videos coming on the website - I can tell you there will be many :)

The other superb and slightly more running related news is that I’ve got my running kit back. It’s in the wash and should be active for Tuesday morning which is super news and will allow me to get back training! Anyhow, I’m meant to be using this Sunday evening slot to focus on my OU work so I better get back to studying - keep in touch….

So it was my third and final writing workshop with Simon Kerr at the Beverley Literature Festival today - I’ll be sticking a full review on aguilder.org.uk. The past week has been super busy, I’m really looking forward to getting my kit back from Paul and getting back on the path to running. What it has done is given me a chance to get some walking in and to get ready to follow the 24 week plan from shelter (which has all sorts of good advice in it and all sorts of different types of running). I’ll also be along at the athletics club again next week.
